We know there is no Perfect Cruising Boat. Cruising boats have to be home and vehicle; they have to be adequately comfortable and perform reasonably. They also have to be a safe refuge in a storm. They may house 1 to 6 people or more. How you balance these competing demands depends on your intended cruising area, your own tastes, and the capabilities and predilections of the crew. But these choices should be made intentionally, which requires we educate ourselves about the trade-offs. The posts in this section deal with some of these issues.
